Quartz slabs are a man-made natural material. Thousands of quartz crystals are mined and retrieved from deep in the earth. These crystals are then refined and mixed with resin and other colored quartz, stone, or glass. Most quartz slabs are above 90% natural quartz and very durable and scratch/stain resistant with little to no maintenance. There are hundreds of quartz colors to choose from, and the price can vary from a little bit more than granite to a lot cheaper.
